How to Enroll

Enrollment Information

Eligibility for Head Start and Early Head Start programs is based on the income of a family. Other children that may be eligible for these programs include: children living an a household with a family member receiving SSI (Supplemental Security Income), TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) Payments, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program),  children in Foster Care, and children from families experiencing homelessness. Sometimes, we can accept children from families that do not meet any of these criteria. This is why we encourage all families to apply for Head Start.

Head Start programs are required to maintain a waiting list, based on the needs of children and their families. Waiting lists are not based on the order applications are received.

To complete an application, you will need to:
1.) Meet with a member of the Family Services Team.
2.) Provide proof of your income.
3.) Provide proof of your child’s date of birth.
