Birth To Three Years

Early Head Start

Babies and toddlers might be tiny in size, but their minds are mighty and ready to learn!
Our nurturing educators work together with families to plan daily activities that will support each child as an individual. At Early Head Start, we know that children are ready to learn when they are happy and healthy. We provide growing families with support and education in health, nutrition, parenting, mental health and disability services.

Center-Based Program Option

In this full-year program, babies and toddlers spend their day in a classroom with their teachers and a small group of children. Fun activities are designed with the needs of each child in mind. Our daily routine includes breakfast, lunch, snack and naptime.  Outside of regular daily contacts at drop off and pick-up time, there are at least 4 opportunities a year for parents to meet with teachers – twice at the center and twice at the family’s home.  Every family in our center-based program has a Family Advocate. They provide support to families and opportunities to meet other parents, learn new things, and set goals for your whole family. (Want to know more about our Family Advocates? Home-Based Program Option

Our Home-Based Program is the perfect option for families looking to stay at home with their baby or toddler. Every family in this option has a Family Educator that will come to the home for 90 minutes each week. The visits are focused on supporting parents as their child’s most important educator. The family and their Family Educator plan each visit together to include activities based on the age of the child and sharing information to help growing families.
About twice a month, Home Based families come together for a playgroup, giving children and families a chance to learn together.
